Značaj

Temperament

Prijazen, navezan na svoje ljudi in izjemno prilagodljiv. Dobro sobiva z otroki in drugimi živalmi. Ni glasen brez razloga, je pa pozoren — povedal vam bo, kdo je pred vrati.

Friendly, deeply attached to its people and remarkably adaptable. Gets on well with children and other animals. Not a noisy dog, but attentive — it will tell you when someone is at the door.

Dlaka in nega

Coat and grooming

Dlake ne odlaga tako kot večina pasem, zato je v stanovanju manj dlak. To nekaterim ljudem z blago alergijo olajša sobivanje — a hipoalergenih psov ni in tega ne obljubljamo. Dolga dlaka terja redno česanje, sicer se spletka.

It does not shed the way most breeds do, so there is less hair around the home. Some people with mild allergies find this easier — but no dog is truly hypoallergenic and we do not promise that. The long coat needs regular brushing.

What it needs

Družbo. Tibetanec ni pes, ki bi bil srečen sam na vrtu — želi biti tam, kjer ste vi. Rad hodi v hribe in se uči, ustreza mu zmerno, a redno gibanje.

Company. This is not a dog to be left alone in a yard — it wants to be where you are. It enjoys hiking and learning, and does well with moderate but regular exercise.
